Communication consulting for nonprofits and businesses in Nashville, TN

Competent, confident communication to authentically tell your story in any format.

You don’t have to do it like everyone else.

With some practical and professional skills you can increase your confidence and authentically tell your story.

Communication is risky. Public speaking, media interviews and preparing print and social media materials can feel scary and overwhelming. Knowing your mission is unique is what makes you want to communicate. But, knowing the best way to tell that story isn’t always as clear.

The good news is that communication is a skill you can learn.

Talking to a reporter? You can learn to pitch stories and answer interview questions well. Managing your anxiety about public speaking? There are ways to practice and prepare for that. Raising money for a nonprofit you believe in? There is a strategy for that and it is as unique as your mission. Spreading the word about your business and attracting your ideal client? That’s just good storytelling and you can do that.

my core values

  • Clarity

  • Competence

  • Confidence

As a former news reporter, college professor and non-profit public relations director I know that stories matter. A lot.

I also know that people and organizations with important stories to tell don’t always feel confident telling them.

I believe that communication is a skill and competence always leads to confidence. I get excited about the good work people, businesses and nonprofits do in the world and I get even more excited about helping people just like you tell the story of that good work. My practical, customized approach allows you to focus on your mission and feel the relief of having a clear, confident communication plan.
